Do you make plans in advance for your dogs (pets)?

In this day and age most all ppl make plans for their loved ones if something should happen to them. ( life ins., who will care for your children, etc...). Do you make plans for your dog(s) and or other pets. Like talk to relatives or friends or.....?

Just wondered-------

Thanks in advance

Yes, I have plans for my pets. Very detailed with a moderate amount of money left for their care. This is quite easy to add to your will. Also, it is courteous to discuss your plans with your friends/family members who you would like to leave your pet with.

Excellent question.

I had this discussion with my mother not that long ago. If something happened to both me and my husband, she would take our dog. She didn't even let me finish the sentence before telling me that she would take care of our dog.

Yes, I have plans for my dog.....boyfriend will take care of. Fish....friend and cat - well, it changes - not surrounded by too many cat people; however, my family would make sure she was cared for. I'm not worried about that.

It's too bad that more people don't care for their pets like you or those who answered. They are no different than members of the family and should be cared for even in death.
