Can someone direct me to a site that tells what people in various countries name their pets?

i.e. what are common naming practices around the world for pets? For example, in English-speaking countries it's acceptable to name an animal pretty much anything, but in China they believe that giving animals human names is disrespectful/rude.

People who live in non-English speaking countries and have named their pets something common for that country (or something totally out there) are welcome too. Particularly I'm looking for German or Russian pet names.

Hi there...here's what I found online for Russian and German pet names:

Russian: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en%26amp;q=rus...

German: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en%26amp;q=ger...

Because your question is broad it would be difficult to provide a simplified answer. Names chosen in certain countries are chosen sometimes for cultural reasons and others spiritual, for example.
