Does it bother anyone else that people dress up their pets...?

..and that the ones who often do are whining the loudest about animal rights??? sheesh...isn't it your pets right to to have to wear that crap???? they can't really believe these animals like this....

or is it just me?

Well, I agree with you, even though I am not an animal rights activist. Paris Hilton and others like her are just mean to those dogs. You can't possibly think they like that!

There are many breeds now that are not equipped to handle cold weather..those animals need some sort of protection.

bugs the hell outa me
I know from experience of trying to put clothes on animals when I was a little kid they don't seem to like it very much soooo....if your into animal rights and your over 5 years old then please think of how your pet feels and stop putting clothes and accessories all over them! It looks more ridiculous than cute.
I once dressed up my dog to take a photo BUT saying that it was only a bit of fun and my dog took it as playing i didnt hurt the dog and it didnt last for more than 3 mins. I believe animals shouldnt be dressed up but it doesnt hurt them so its not exactly cruel and face it humans wear clothes why cant pets after all its clothes that are to keep us warm and some pets dont have that ability. Dressing up animals to make them look funny or as a fashion accessory is wrong but once again it is not cruel otherwise im sure there would be some law or legislation against.

This is just my opinion.
it does seem cruel. Except maybe dog jackets if it's chilly that's no worse than a horse blanket.
Well I wish I had the time to dress them up. Im lucky I get myself ready in the mornings.
I think it's cute. But let me also say that if the pet is forced, or hates it, then it should not be done. My dog used to get excited when Id dress her, but the other would run at the sight of the clothes, so I didnt dress her at all. Let the pet decide.
My dogs wear sweaters when it's cold out. They actually get very excited when you get their clothes out and when you put them on, they run around like "hey! look how pretty I am!". So, I don't think there is anything wrong with dressing up your dog if you aren't doing it to make them look like babies or incredibly ridiculous,
I don't mind
yea it is soo weird.... i feel sooo bad for the animals!... it should be like animal abuse or something!
