Where do I look for people to 'House sit and look after pets ' while we are away. We live

I live inCairns , Qld , Australia and I have two pet cats. I am looking for someone to sit my house around the end of June 07 /July 07 and look after my pets at the same time. Local bus service is out front .

There is places %26amp; people that provide this sort of service. They will come for an hour or so a day. Feed your pets. Give them fresh water. Fix up their litter boxes. Brush them. Play with them a little. Even water you plants %26amp; such.

It can get fairly expensive but I believe it's totally worth it as you spare your pets the stress of getting boarded at a kennel/cattery.

I'd suggest looking in the Yellow Pages under Catteries or even Pet Services. Also, you can find some places online too. Just make sure you look into it ahead of time as these places can get pretty booked out especially in time for Christmas.

Ask your veterinarian. chances are one of her staff members pet sit for extra $. or if there is a vet school in your area lots of vet students do this to put themselves thru school
Well you cantake them to a friend or neighbor and ask them to watch over them.Or maybe there is a local pet-sitting company or something around there.You can check or go to Petco or Petsmart to find out that kind of stuff.Good-luck!!
